Friendly bridge games and lessons in our club on Byron Road. Visitors and new members are always welcome.
May 21, 2024 · 24-26 Portland Road, Worthing. Located on Portland Road, the road directly in front of Marks and Spencers on Montague Street. Our Bridge Club is Free, but so, that you know: Dice Lounges charges a £4 charge for using their tables, but you can reduce this by buying the 'Meal Deal' which is a combination of food, drink and discount charge.
Summer Term Bridge Lessons. Please note that there will not be any lessons from 6 to 31 May. Beginners Year 1 Thursday 10.00 - 12.00. From Thursday 11 April to Thursday 11 July inclusive. Year 2 Monday 13.00 - 15.00.
SESSION START TIMES. Arriving 5 mins before the start times would mean you are unlikely to get a game unless you have phoned in advance to say you are coming but delayed. If you are delayed, ring the club to say you are on the way. 01903 239 234.
This is a members' club. We are approximately 300 strong. Bridge is played in a converted chapel, built in 1884. The chapel was originally owned by Mr & Mrs LW Head, along with the building on the same site, then a guest house. They sold to Evelyn and Tommy Ricardo, two Welsh internationals.
