Wim Peters Kwekerijen is an innovative and independent greenhouse company that grows, packs and sells tomatoes from Someren over 31 ha for the (inter)national market. Our raison d’être is anchored in our family tradition. A tradition we are proud of: growing the tastiest tomatoes imaginable.
But they all have one thing in common: they tell our family story. We work in a customer-oriented manner and produce crops to specifications drawn up by our customers. They include exporters, retailers, national caterers, local hospitality businesses and specialised greengrocers.
Wim Peters is the third generation in the Peters family to grow tomatoes. Early 20th century Wim Peters' grandfather started a mixed (full soil and greenhouse) company in Loosduinen. In the years that followed, Wim's grandfather and uncle further built the company into a tomato nursery.
Aug 16, 2013 · Kwekerij Wim Peters in Someren, The Netherlands is the first grower of plum tomatoes that has opted for Philips LED lighting. The nursery specializes in growing Roma Vine plum tomatoes and Tasty Tom cocktail tomatoes.
