Yes. Rampart Range Rd is the road that takes you South to Devilshead, a ranger station in the national forest. South on Santa Fe to Sedalia. Go west past 105 to the turnoff. Then South. The road is closed in the winter. We did drive up to see the site, but found it pretty hard to locate.
From October through March the Rampart Range location is snowy and often closed. It is up in the mountains. I don’t remember snow on the ground in the videos. Good questions. If it was his shotgun, then it had to be after Nov. 15th 1998 approx.
