The Rampart Range is a mountain range in the western United States in Colorado, located in Douglas, El Paso, and Teller counties. Part of the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains, the range is almost entirely public land within the Pike National Forest.

Yes. Rampart Range Rd is the road that takes you South to Devilshead, a ranger station in the national forest. South on Santa Fe to Sedalia. Go west past 105 to the turnoff. Then South. The road is closed in the winter. We did drive up to see the site, but found it pretty hard to locate.
The area is centered around the massive Rampart Reservoir (also known as the Rampart Range Reservoir), which has a capacity of approximately 13 billion gallons of water across nearly 500 surface acres. It is the largest reservoir in El Paso County.
