Neon Pets are pets in Adopt Me! that have a unique glow on certain parts of their body. They were added in July 2019.

Neon pets can be made in the Neon Cave. Inside the Neon Cave, players can fuse the spirits of their pets by placing four Full Grown pets of the same species onto the four glowing circles around the edge of the platform. This will cause them to coalesce and become one pet. The new pet will glow in certain spots of its body. The color of the Neon spots is unique to that species of pet.

To make the pets Full Grown, players can complete tasks to age the pets from Newborn, to Junior, to Pre-Teen, to Teen, to Post-Teen, until they finally reach Full Grown to be eligible for Neon making. Players can also trade for Full Grown pets or feed their pet an Age-Up Potion, which ages it up thirty tasks. The higher rarity the pet is, the more tasks it takes to age up.

The only pets that could not be made into Neons were the Pet Rock (Not to be confused with the Rock), Scoob, Pumpkin, and 2D Kitty. They were limited and were removed from players' inventories after a certain amount of time.

When a player ages up a regular Neon pet, each stage has a different name. The amount of tasks needed to reach the next stage are the same as the corresponding stages in a regular pet. For example, it takes 3 tasks to level up a common pet from Newborn to Junior, so it would also take 3 tasks to age a Neon common from Reborn to Twinkle.

•Is my Neon pet going to be able to fly and/or ride, if only one of my pets has the potion?

•Yes. For example, if a player fed their pet a Fly-A-Pet Potion, and then that pet is made into a Neon, the Neon will also be flyable since the potion states it's permanent.

•Some pets, like the Parrot and Unicorn, glow in multiple colors.

•Prior to the Mega Neons update, the abilities of the neon pets were classified in alphabetical order. This means that the pet's icon showed FNR (Fly Neon Ride) instead of NFR (Neon Fly Ride).
