The pub is located in Old Hunstanton which is the only village on the east coast to face west. Its buildings date back to the 1600s. They were originally the barns and stable block for the adjacent house - now a delightful four star hotel.

Linked by a series of clifftop greens and gardens, this circular route combines the hubbub of Hunstanton and the relative quiet of its much older neighbour, Old Hunstanton. The two settlements offer a truly wide variety of options for food and drink, to suit all tastes and budgets.
The Mariner Inn stands in a scenic seaside location that many guests adore for its picturesque views and proximity to the beach. However, the dining experience seems to hit choppy waters, with reports of inconsistent value and experiences of overcooked and bland meals tarnishing its reputation.
