St John Berchmans College (Dutch: Sint-Jan Berchmanscollege) is a Roman Catholic secondary school founded by the Society of Jesus in Brussels, Belgium. It is situated close to the Chapel Church and is named after the Belgian Jesuit Saint John Berchmans.
John Berchmans, SJ ( Dutch: Jan Berchmans [jɑm ˈbɛr (ə)xmɑns]; 13 March 1599 – 13 August 1621) was a Jesuit scholastic and is revered as a saint in the Catholic Church. In 1615, the Jesuits opened a college at Mechelen, Belgium and Berchmans was one of the first to enroll.
St John Berchmans University College, locally known as Jezuietenhuis or Lerkeveld, is an educational institution run by the European Low Countries Province of the Society of Jesus in Heverlee, outside Leuven. It was built in 1958 by Jos Ritzen, who worked with Alphons Boosten.

Het Sint-Jan Berchmanscollege is een katholieke school in het centrum van Antwerpen, gelegen aan de Jodenstraat waar voor 1798 de Onze-Lieve-Vrouwebroederskerk stond. De school werd opgericht in 1889. Het neogotisch gebouw werd ontworpen door Edmond Leclef.
John Berchmans was declared Blessed in 1865, and was canonized in 1888. His statues represent him with hands clasped, holding his crucifix, his book of rules, and his rosary.
In 1615, the Jesuits opened a college at Malines (Mechlin) and John Berchmans was one of the first to enroll. He proved an energetic student and a leader among his peers. He decided to join them rather than become a diocesan priest.
