Secret Machines are an American alternative rock band, originally from Dallas, Texas, United States, before moving to New York City. The original lineup consisted of two brothers, Brandon (vocals, bass guitar and keyboards) and Benjamin Curtis (guitar and backing vocals), and Josh Garza (drums).
Formed in Dallas in the year 2000, The SECRET MACHINES combine various prog sounds from the 70's including but not limited tor PINK FLOYD, CAN, NEU, BRIAN ENO, TANGERINE DREAM, and HAWKWIND. In 2002 the band released their debut EP September 000 to much fanfare.
