Step 1: Open Cricut Design Space, open your project (or start a new one) and click on Text on the left side. Tip: If you already have text on your Design Space Canvas, just double-click the text instead. Step 2: Click the drop-down “Font” menu in the upper left corner of Cricut Design Space. Step 3: Choose a new font from the Cricut fonts list that...

If you’re missing a font you’ve installed, it’s located in a different list. To see System fonts (fonts you’ve installed on your computer), click on the System tab. Here’s a shareable cheat sheet showing you how to find a font in Cricut Design Space:

Font names do not appear by default in the Layer Panel for text layers, but there is a way to see what font you’re using if you haven’t welded or sliced it yet. First, click on the text layer (it’s identified with it’s first character displayed in the Layers panel—in this case, the letter “D”), then look at the menu under Font. We can see here that...

There are three primary ways to find new fonts for your design in Cricut Design Space. Here are all three, along with their pros and cons.

Step 1: Find a font you want to install (see previous page for places to look), download it, and unzip it. To unzip (decompress) a ZIP file, double-click it in either Windows or Mac. The process to unzip a font ZIP is the same process you use to unzip SVG files. Step 2: Open your font on your computer by double-clicking either the TTF (TrueType) fo...

There are three great ways to make printable lists of your system fonts (and only system fonts) so you can decide what to use. The first is to simply open up Character Map (Windows) or Font Book (Mac) on your computer, choose the fonts that interest you, and press Print. Here’s an example of my Maker Penwriting font in Font Book. Another great plac...

With 700+ Cricut fonts, and more being added everyday, there is no simple way to make a printable list of ALL the Cricut fonts. And, as a longtime user of fonts, I know that I never use ALL the fonts available anyway. Instead, I use a handful over and over because they are familiar. So rather than attempting to make a list of all Cricut fonts, I re...

These Cricut fonts are easy to read yet still have style! I love to use these display fonts for labels and also paired with lighter-weight fonts for emphasis. The bold fonts are easy to see and read! The fonts in green are free at the time of publication. This is my fun font list! There are serious fonts on here (such as Trade Gothic Display, a gre...

These Cricut fonts are pretty, flowing, and some even look like (really nice) handwriting. All of these thin fonts are kerned, so they will look as good as possible in your projects! I’ve included many popular fonts in this list, include Babette and Haley. Note that there are no good Cricut fonts that are both cursive and free at the time of writin...

These Cricut fonts all have “Writing” styles and look amazing when written with a pen in your Cricut cutting machine. These writing style fonts are all single line fonts, so when you use your Cricut pen, they look amazing. You can use a pen in the Cricut Joy, Cricut Explore, and Cricut Maker cutting machines. The fonts in red are free at the time o...

  5. May 30, 2012 · How to access a full font family in FCP7. There is a bug in FCP7 which means that when you install a font family all of the weights and variances don’t appear in the Final Cut Pro text editor. Luckily Alex Goller (maker of many excellent and free FCP7/X plugins) has created a plugin for FCP7 to work around this issue.
