Eventually realized that these missing fonts were not resident in ~/Library/Fonts, but managed (and available via) Suitcase Fusion. When copied INTO the os font folder, they showed in X. Jan 18, 2022 · Select User in the left-hand column of the Font Book. Click the + button at the top of the window and navigate your font downloads folder. Select the top font file, then while holding Shift, select the bottom of the list. Hit Open, and all the fonts will be installed at once. Remember to restart Final Cut Pro, so they appear in the list.
May 30, 2012 · How to access a full font family in FCP7. There is a bug in FCP7 which means that when you install a font family all of the weights and variances don’t appear in the Final Cut Pro text editor. Luckily Alex Goller (maker of many excellent and free FCP7/X plugins) has created a plugin for FCP7 to work around this issue.
