Sep 29, 2019 · Unfortunately, Preacher is unlikely to get a fifth season, at least not in its current incarnation. Although an official explanation for the decision to end Preacher wasn't provided, there are several contributing factors.
Aug 4, 2019 · Sadly, despite Netflix getting the streaming rights to several AMC shows, Preacher isn’t one of them. Sony Pictures (who distributes the series) opted to put the series on Hulu instead. Hulu gets new episodes a day after they air on AMC.

The new season will air weekly from Sunday 4th August on AMC in the USA. Episodes will then drop on Amazon Prime Video in the UK within 24 hours - so that's Monday 5th August for Britons.
