Send us your meter readings. If you have a traditional meter (in other words: not a smart meter), you’ll need to send us a meter reading every month. It’s the best way of making sure your bills are accurate and up-to-date. The good news is that it’s easy to submit meter readings in your OVO account.
If you ever need to take a reading manually read our help article here. If your smart electricity meter is on an Economy 7 tariff, please ‘6’ on the keypad until you can see an ‘IMP R01’. This shows your off-peak (night-time) reading in kWh. Then keep pressing ‘6’ again until you’ll see ‘IMP R02’. This gives your daytime reading.
Oct 1, 2023 · Remember that OVO uses a Live Billing model so it doesn’t sound to me like there’s a problem with your account. The account gets updated the moment you send readings in so any estimates are quickly wiped out by actual reads. It works best with a Smart Meter though. Securing energy by zapping security bugs...
Oct 1, 2023 · Any ideas an account that doesn’t make sense can produce any type of billing in the future. Well folks didn’t contact ovo. Checked online account today found that todays balance has resorted back to what it’s original balance of Debit and the £254.95 Credit has now disappeared on it’s own.
