Morgan O’Sullivan was the executive producer of 89 episodes of Vikings, a global hit series that sold in 224 countries, assembling Emmy-nominated production teams in Ireland, including directors, and departments heads while bringing a significant tax credit to bear making cost-effective production possible.
Born in Dublin in May 1945, Producer Morgan O’Sullivan has garnered a reputation for being one of the most significant contributors to the Irish film and television industry. His projects have received numerous accolades including five Oscars, three BAFTAs, Six Emmys and over 25 IFTAs.
Morgan is the Executive Producer of ‘Vikings,’ for MGM/ History and Vikings:Valhalla for Netflix. He also Executive Produced all four seasons of The Tudors, the critically acclaimed Showtime series that won Emmy awards for Costume and Art Direction, a Gemini award in 2010, and the IFTA award in 2009 for Best Dramatic Series.
