Michael E. Uslan ( / ˈjuːslən /; born June 2, 1951) is an American lawyer and film producer. Uslan has also dabbled in writing and teaching, he is known for being the first instructor to teach an accredited course on comic book folklore at any university.

Jul 11, 2011 · After college, Uslan decided his next move was to go to law school. Without the necessary funds, however, he “did the unthinkable” and sold 20,000 of his comics to pay for three years of law school tuition and purchase an engagement ring for his bride-to-be.
