    There are regular busesfrom across London into Elephant and Castle, with most stopping right outside our campus. They include the 155, 244, 360 and C10. The N155, N133, N343, N1, N63 are night buses which also stop outside campus – helpful after an evening study session (or let’s be honest, a night out on the town)!

It is based in the London Borough of Southwark, near the South Bank of the River Thames, from which it takes its name. Founded in 1892 as the Borough Polytechnic Institute, it achieved university status in 1992 under the Further and Higher Education Act 1992.
