On 19 June 2008, Yahoo! started the RocketMail brand again by allowing new users to sign up for accounts under the rocketmail.com domain, which had not been possible since its acquisition of Four11 Corporation.
RocketMail was the name for one of the first major, free webmail services. For a brief time, RocketMail battled with Hotmail for the number-one spot among free webmail services. Yahoo! acquired RocketMail in 1997, and assimilated it into Yahoo! Mail.

- Type the password for your Rocketmail account into the Password input box.
- Click the “Sign In” button. You now have access to your Rocketmail email account.
Since 2015, users can also connect non-Yahoo e-mail accounts to the webmail client. New Yahoo! Mail accounts, and most of the service's accounts, use yahoo.com as the email suffix. Previously, users could choose ymail.com or rocketmail.com as a suffix, or one of several country-specific suffixes.
