Apr 26, 2024 · Here's how to reset your Apple ID password and regain access to your account. The easiest way to reset your password is with your iPhone or other trusted Apple device — one that you're already signed in to with your Apple ID, so that we know that it's yours.
There are two ways to reset your password for your BlackBerry device before resorting to a full reset. The first is to reset the password from your device by tapping or clicking the "Forgot Password" button when prompted to sign into your BlackBerry ID.

You can’t restore an encrypted backup without its password. With iOS 11 or later or iPadOS, you can make a new encrypted backup of your device by resetting the password.
1.On your device, go to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset [Device], then tap Reset.
2.Tap Reset All Settings and enter your device passcode.
3.Tap Reset All Settings.
4.Follow the steps to reset your settings. This won't affect your user data or passwords, but it will reset settings like display brightness, Home Screen layout, and wallpaper. It also removes your encrypted backup password.
5.Connect your device to the Finder, the Apple Devices app, or iTunes again and create a new encrypted backup.
