Nov 3, 2022 · I noticed in "Storage" on Windows 11 that mail is taking up over 6 GB of space on my C: drive. However, I do not have any mail apps installed on my PC in order to conserve space until I can get a new boot SSD.
If you go to Control Panel instead of Settings, and go to Mail (32-bit), then a window "Mail Setup - Outlook" will open, click "Data Files..." and then go to the "email" tab and delete any accounts. This deleted locally stored files - 12GB of them!

Oct 10, 2022 · I'm now answering you why your Mail App takes so big storage. Please check your Mail (in Control Panel), then check Data Files, Open File Location, and see what inside your Outlook or else? Mine one is about 4GB for MAP Mail server.
