May 18, 2022 · I want to turn OFF the login password to use my computer. No one else has access so it's just a hassle to be logging in all the time. Nothing online seems to work, whatever I do, it still shows up.

Turning off password login on a Mac is a simple process. To disable password login in macOS, simply access your System Settings (macOS Ventura and later) or System Preferences (macOS Monterey and earlier), and make a few changes to your Users & Groups settings. If you have FileVault turned on, you must disable it before you can turn off password login.
When you turn on Automatic Login, your Mac will instantly sign in to your account at startup without requiring a password.
You'll need to turn off File Vault before you can set up Automatic Login.
Your Automatic Login settings are in the Users & Groups section of System Preferences.
