Mar 7, 2018 · My computer is almost useless at this time, the constant false "touch signals" on the screen is happening so rapidly that I cannot login to windows. The only thing I'm able to do is reboot, enter recovery mode and then open the command prompt to get to the registry editor.

- Disable and Re-enable the Human Interface Device (HID) driver on your touch screens: Right click on the START button and select DEVICE MANAGER. Expand Human Interface Devices.
- Update Drivers. Right click on the START button and select DEVICE MANAGER. Expand Human Interface Devices. Right click on any HID-COMPLIANT TOUCH SCREEN and select UPDATE DRIVER.
- Check PEN & TOUCH Settings. Get into the CONTROL PANEL. Change the VIEW BY (top right corner) to SMALL ICONS. Double click on PEN AND TOUCH and make sure everything looks happy.
