In Greek mythology, Eurydice (/ j ʊəˈr ɪ d ɪ s i /; Ancient Greek: Εὐρυδίκη, Eὐrudíkē "wide justice", derived from ευρυς eurys "wide" and δικη dike "justice) sometimes called Henioche, was the wife of Creon, a king of Thebes.

Orpheus was the son of Oeagrus and the muse Calliope. It may be a late addition to the Orpheus myths, as the latter cult-title suggests those attached to Persephone.
