Edwards Air Force Base (AFB) (IATA: EDW, ICAO: KEDW, FAA LID: EDW) is a United States Air Force installation in California. Most of the base sits in Kern County, but its eastern end is in San Bernardino County and a southern arm is in Los Angeles County. The hub of the base is Edwards, California.
The 2nd largest base in the Air Force, the wing oversees base day-to-day operations and provides support for over 10,000 military, federal civilian, and contract personnel assigned to a 470 square mile installation.
