DV8 Physical Theatre (or Dance and Video 8) was a physical theatre company based at Artsadmin in London, United Kingdom. It was officially founded in 1986 by Lloyd Newson (1986–2015), Michelle Richecoeur (1986–1988) and Nigel Charnock (1986–1989, 1992).
DV8’s award winning films (Dead Dreams of Monochrome Men, Strange Fish, Enter Achilles and The Cost of Living) are now available via Digital Theatre and Digital Theatre Plus. DV8’s Archive materials from the 1980s onwards are available at the Theatre Collection, University of Bristol.
