Mar 18, 2021 · First of all, I turned off all Microsoft Edge notifications. This seems to have completely stopped the pop-ups (fingers crossed!). So apparently the adware virus had hijacked Edge's notifications feature. (Of course, this now means I won't get any notifications, including ones I might have wanted.)
