Jun 8, 2022 · I own a Z30, and have not realized that BlackBerry Protect was still activated when the servers shut down. I am unable to wipe the device using the standard procedure. "Settings -> Security and Privacy -> Security Wipe" will ask for BBID password, but nothing happens on "verify".
Jul 4, 2023 · Without the servers, you cannot log in to your BBID account to get into the PlayBook. And today, you can’t even get past the User Agreement. For anyone that has wiped their PlayBook, or wants to wipe their PlayBook, there is a solution get past the setup screens and have a fully usable tablet again.
