Welcome to Born Reckless! Born Reckless is a Country/Rock band based out of Victoria, B.C. The two began as an acoustic duo, made up of Jon Bond, James Thomson. With Bond deeply rooted in country, and Thomson rooted in rock & roll, the two have mixed each other’s playing and writing styles, creating a unique sound that pushes the boundaries of both mainstream country and mainstream rock.
Taylor Michel Momsen [1] (born July 26, 1993) [2] is an American singer, songwriter, musician, model, and former actress. Prior to her retirement from acting, she portrayed the character of Cindy Lou Who in the film How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000) and Jenny Humphrey on The CW 's teen drama series Gossip Girl (2007–2012). [3]
The band was inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame in September 1996. Three weeks later, Robinson died. Additional compilation albums were released; More Wharf in 1998, Reckless: 1979–1995 in 2000 and The Definitive Collection in 2002. The Definitive Collection contained songs from the band and from James Reyne's solo career.
Mar 8, 2021 · A creative foil who introduced Momsen to guitarist Ben Phillips, he was “essentially the fifth member of the band [completed by bassist Mark Damon and drummer Jamie Perkins] and my best friend on the planet”, and also the person who encouraged her to take the leap of faith. Three hit albums followed. Then, in 2017, Momsen’s world fell apart.
