Andrew MacGregor Childs is an American computer scientist and physicist known for his work on quantum computing. He is currently a professor in the department of computer science and Institute for Advanced Computer Studies at the University of Maryland.
Andrew Childs is a professor of computer science at the University of Maryland and is the director of the NSF Quantum Leap Challenge Institute for Robust Quantum Simulation. He also serves as co-director of the Joint Center for Quantum Information and Computer Science.
