  6. The Marin Headlands is one of my favorite places to go when I visit SF. It is right over the Golden Gate Bridge. As you take the drive, stop at the first overlook, park and walk thru the old army bunkers, and enjoy the spectacular views of the city. You are standing right on the very edge looking down on San Francisco Bay and the city.
