Jun 22, 2006 · Rambøll announced today that they'll move their HQ to Ørestad City. They'll construct a new 40.000 sqm. building at the site located south of the motorway and Ferring building and east of the comming World Trad Center. The masterplan doesn't allow anything tall here, so it will most likely be 8 floors tall.

Apr 30, 2008 · The old suburbs of Copenhagen (like Gladsakse, Hyndige/Greve, Høje Tåstrup, Gentofte) - not really cities, but it is areas that have a decreasing importance, and I think most development will be in central areas of Copenhagen, new areas like Ørestad and the surrounding cities like Roskilde, Køge, Hillerød, Stenløse-Ølstykke, Malmø etc.

Dec 1, 2022 · The famous Mærsk shipping company want to expand their headquarter at Esplanaden with a 26 000 m2 new building, which primarily is situated in Amaliegade 44. The new construction proposal is designed by Dorte Mandrup Architects, and is still in process at Teknik og Miljøudvalget at København Kommune. Mærsk vil bygge stort på Amaliegade.

Nowadays the development has moved north to Teglholmen with the ongoing construction of the Sydhavn school and daycare, and many residental buildings and some offices buildings.
