- At Stuyvesant, clubs are an integral part of education, recreation, and the social scene. After 10th period each day, the hallways buzz with students into the early evening. Last year, Stuyvesant boasted over 300 student-run clubs, creating spaces for every student to find their niche.

As a school with over 200 clubs, one can argue that Stuyvesant’s got it all. From those that teach students about the art of Chinese yo-yoing to ones focused on calisthenics, rocketry, and even lettuce-eating, it seems like every possible club that could exist, does exist.
Stuyvesant’s Architecture club began to have meetings every Thursday around the middle of October. Club members are divided into five or six teams with four members in each.
But it means that there are friendship opportunities aplenty and a huge selection of clubs to check out too. Most of my classmates love their clubs! Of note is SING!, the competition where each grade produces their own play. It is a huge event, half the school is in it, and it's all student run.
