  3. The two soldiers killed on 31st August 2009 from the The Black Watch, 3rd Royal Regiment of Scotland have been named as Sgt Stuart ‘Gus’ Millar, aged 40 from Inverness and Private Kevin Elliott, aged 24 from Dundee.

  5. Pte Elliott and Sgt Stuart Millar were killed in an explosion while on foot patrol north of Lashkar Gah, in Helmand province. The blast is believed to have been caused by a rocket-propelled grenade. Aged 24, from Dundee. Pte Elliott enlisted in the military in 2002 and previously served in Iraq and Northern Ireland.
