Gintama (銀魂, lit. ' Silver Soul ') is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Hideaki Sorachi. It was serialized in Shueisha's shōnen manga magazine Weekly Shōnen Jump from December 2003 to September 2018, later in Jump Giga from December 2018 to February 2019, and finished on the Gintama app, where it ran from May to June 2019.
Gintama received a live-action movie adaptation that premiered on July 14, 2017. Shortly after the film's release, a sequel was announced in November 2017 and was later released on August 17, 2018. Edit.
