Overall, "The Temp" is good fun if you take it on the terms of it being an artifact of glossy early '90s neo-noir revival films. It is well-shot and competently acted, although it suffers from a general lack of threat or surprise, so the stakes never really feel present.

Review by Ben Peterson ★★★. A 90s thriller of the corporate cutthroat ladder climbing variety, directed by definitely not Spider-Man Tom Holland. Lara Flynn Boyle is the titular Temp & provides the movie with all its energy and verve. Has an often oddly timed, darkly comedic bone.
