Get to know the United Way UK team! Place-Based Investment: how the United Way model shares the principles of PBI to strengthen communities. In fact, thousands of schools across the UK do not have access to a library or dedicated reading space.
We use our resources to support them and amplify their impact. United Way is a global organisation that supports local communities around the world in more than 40 different countries. Communities all over the world face similar challenges, but each one requires a unique approach to solving them.

You do not automatically get British citizenship if you were born in the UK. It depends on when you were born and your parents’ circumstances. You need to check if you’re a British citizen. You may be eligible to apply for citizenship if you were born in the UKand are not automatically a British citizen.
To apply as the spouse or civil partner of a British citizenyou must have lived in the UK for the last 3 years. You’ll also need to have either: 1. indefinite leave to remain (ILR) 2. settled status under the EU Settlement Scheme If you do, you’ll be eligible to apply for citizenship immediately.
You can usually apply for ILRafter you’ve lived in the UK for 5 years. To apply for citizenship with ILRyou must usually have lived in the UK for 12 months after getting it.
