William C. McGann [1] (April 15, 1893 – November 15, 1977) was an American film director. He directed more than 50 films between 1930 and 1942. He was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and died in Los Angeles, California .
William C. McGann was an American director of second features. He began his film career as assistant cameraman and graduated to cinematographer for Douglas Fairbanks in the late 1910s. He had a long tenure as director with the Warner Bros. "B" unit, 1930-39.
