During one of the conflicts, Laval chooses to take the Crocodile's Chi and drops it into the gorge of eternal depth. Here, outland tribes consisting of spiders, scorpions, and bats drink the Chi and evolve. In the meanwhile, Laval and Cragger eventually resolve their friendship.
