The main race will start and finish at the Embankment as per previous years – and take in the usual route around Peterborough City Centre. The Event Village will be open from 7:30am. Further details regarding race packs will be made available nearer the event.

The Great Eastern Run is a flat half marathon around and through the centre of Peterborough and is organised by Good Running Events. The race used to be sponsored by Perkins. The main race will start and finish near the Embankment and takes in a route around Peterborough City Centre.
The Great Eastern Run returns for 2024, with a fast, flat route and 5k and half marathon distances available. The traffic-free course weaves through Peterborough's city centre and past the historic cathedral, where you can be cheered on by spectators. Come to run your first race or achieve a new PB.
