21C is the tenth episode in the second season of Travelers. It first aired on Showcase on December 11, 2017. The episode was written by Brad Wright and directed by William Waring.
While MacLaren, Carly, Trevor, and Philip work with another traveler team to protect a child important to the future, Marcy takes measures to remember her past life – but uncovers more than she bargained for.
•The episode title has multiple meanings. At 15°C to 21°C water temperature the human body is at risk for hypothermia, which is what Marcy undergoes in the episode to regain her memories. In the next episode, it is revealed that Room 21C is the part of the hospital ward where Simon was working on the prototype consciousness transfer machine.
The Travelers are there to protect the 53rd President of the United States of America until 4:00 PM that day: Anna Hamilton herself, when she grows up in the future. Armed hostiles arrive outside the diner and instigate a shootout; the Travelers prevail, with the Director overwriting the last one via CCTV.
