Two middle-aged males travel to the secret city of gold, El Dorado. While they are there, the residents believe that they are gods but they are not. They plan to leave El Dorado and keep it safe from anyone who means to cause harm to the city of gold.
Plot. In 1519 Spain, con-artists Miguel and Tulio win a map to the legendary City of Gold, El Dorado, in a rigged dice gamble (though they ironically win the map fairly after Tulio was given normal dice from one of the opponents).
After a failed swindle, two con-men end up with a map to El Dorado, the fabled "city of gold," and an unintended trip to the New World. Much to their surprise, the map does lead the pair to the mythical city, where the startled inhabitants promptly begin to worship them as gods.
The Road To El Dorado. Two genial swindlers working as stable hands stow away with Cortez as he searches for El Dorado, the lost City of Gold. Luck smiles on the two con men, and they happen to find a settlement in Mexico that they believe is El Dorado.
