- Biography
David Hazelwood (1932-1994) was a self taught artist, working in mixed media, acrylic, collage and photo-lithography. He was born and lived in Ipswich, Suffolk and took part in many group shows including Royal Academy from 1977, the Free Painters and Sculptors, and International Art Fairs from 1985 including Basel, Madrid, Chicago, and Cologne.
Robin Hazlewood was born in Meriden, Warwickshire in March 1944, son of Ernest Roland Hazlewood (25 November 1907-2003) and his wife Nellie née Parker (17 June 1910-1993), who married at Coventry in 1936.
A photo-lithographic artist 1948-1985 and then, as a self-taught artist, became a professional artist and collagist of abstract works in mixed media, acrylic, collage in a range of materials, including wood, cloth, hessian, music sheets and natural dyes.

David R. Hazelwood (1932–1994) Royal Holloway, University of London. Self-taught artist, born and lived in Ipswich, Suffolk. He used collage, acrylic and mixed media. Hazelwood’s work could be meticulous and subtly coloured, sometimes employing tiny pieces of sheet music.
