Free school meals are available to pupils in receipt of, or whose parents are in receipt of, one or more of the following benefits: Universal Credit (provided you have an annual net earned income of no more than £7,400, as assessed by earnings from up to three of your most recent assessment periods) Income Support.
From September 2014, all children in Reception and Year 1 and Year 2 qualify for free school meals (Universal Infant Free School Meals) regardless of their family income, but only the children who have qualified under the above income-based criteria will receive the Pupil Premium Grant.
Jun 25, 2024 · The Meals and Uniform Section requires parents to submit an application for uniform in each school year and a uniform allowance will only be awarded after the claim for the relevant school year has been assessed. The Meals and Uniform Section does not accept or process back-dated claims for uniform allowances.
