Ethical Culture Fieldston School ( ECFS ), also known as Fieldston, is a private pre-K–12th grade coeducational school in New York City with two campuses in Manhattan and the Bronx. The school is a member of the Ivy Preparatory School League.

The core of our educational program is the study and practice of ethics, which prepares us — and compels us — to take care of our world, ourselves, and each other.
ECFS has two campuses. Our Manhattan Campus on Central Park West houses the Ethical Culture division (Pre-K–5th Grade); our campus in the Riverdale section of the Bronx houses Fieldston Lower (Pre-K–5th Grade), Fieldston Middle (6th–8th Grades), and Fieldston Upper (9th–12th Grades).

Ca. 1904, under the leadership of school principal Frank Manny and nature study and geography instructor Lewis Hine, the Ethical Culture Fieldston School became one of the nation's first educational institutions to originate a full-scale photography program.
