Presented by CAPA, the Cinema Columbus Film Festival today announced the roster of independent films selected for the 2024 festival and its screening schedule for April 24-28.
Film Columbus was formed to promote the city of Columbus and the state of Ohio as a filmmaking destination. Columbus stands tall as a vibrant cultural hub, celebrated for its unwavering commitment to the arts and innovation.
Each of our silent film selections is accompanied by live piano accompaniment. Our accomplished musicians use improvisational skills to gauge the mood of a scene and play appropriately. Their work can be found on numerous DVD and Blu-ray releases. Dr. Philip Carli began accompanying silent films at age 13.
