What you were downloading was a CPPS (short for Club Penguin Private Server) which is a fan made remake of Club Penguin. I can confirm it's safe to install and it's got my thumbs up! You have to right-click and press “open”, can’t just single tap. Go to Settings > Security > At the bottom hit Trust NewCP.

CPPS like New Club Penguin has a downloadable web client. If you download the NewCP client from their website, as of now, it should NOT contain a virus and your computer will most likely be fine, despite warnings sometimes appearing.
