If CPR (Club Penguin Rewritten) wasn't a thing, on which CPPS (Club Penguin Private Server) would you play? I'd personally play New Club Penguin which is a modern CPPS. new club penguin doesn’t work for me at all.
Again, it's all in the interest of trying to just be The New Top Club Penguin Private Server. Any particularly original content is kind of off to the wayside when the goal of most of these new CPPSes is simply "be Club Penguin Rewritten now that Club Penguin Rewritten's gone".
The official Club Penguin shut down in March 2017, yet there are still thriving communities of penguins out there through CPPS (Club Penguin Private Servers). There is no clear cut answer as to the best one, but it can come down to what style (era) of Club Penguin you'd like to play (AS2/AS3).
