Bruno is a Neo-Nazi woman and ruthless gang leader in Gotham City, originating from the possible future story Dark Knight and its elseworld prequels. One of Batman's more obscure enemies, nowadays she is arguably best remembered for the distinctive pair of red swastika pasties on her exposed breasts and glutes.

Bruno was a muscular nazi criminal active in Gotham City. During Batman's prime years around the 1950s-1960s, Bruno worked as a henchwoman for the Joker. She assisted Joker in disposing of the corpse belonging to attorney Donna Gugina whom he murdered while they had sex at a hotel.

Bruno continued her criminal career after Batman and the Justice League were forced by the government into retirement, leading a small gang of robbers. Her, "Boyfriend" (possibly referring to the Joker) was incarcerated within Arkham, leaving her to lead her own gang, supposedly to fund body surgeries. Her gang would include Rob and Don, two former members of the Mutants gang after their leader was beaten by a resurged Batman.

Bruno was shown to be very skilled unarmed combat being able to hold her own against Batman for a brief amount of time.
