Langston University is the nation’s westernmost and Oklahoma’s only historically black college or university. It offers more than 40 programs of study, research, extension, and athletics on three campuses in Langston, Oklahoma City, and Tulsa.
Langston University is a public institution that was founded in 1897. It has a total undergraduate enrollment of 1,814 (fall 2022), and the campus size is 40 acres.

Langston University, public, coeducational institution of higher learning in Langston, Oklahoma, U.S. It is Oklahoma’s only historically black institution of higher learning and has land-grant status.
Langston is divided into six colleges and a graduate education programme. Highly renowned is the Agriculture & Applied Sciences college for both its teaching and research. The college offers studies in fields such as Family & Consumer Sciences, Natural Resources, and Aquaculture.
