Kadhja Bonet ( / ˈkɑːdjə boʊˈneɪ / KAHD-yə boh-NAY; [1] born January 31, 1988) is an American musician. Early life. Bonet grew up in Los Angeles, California, as the middle child of seven siblings and studied classical music from an early age, playing the violin. [2] . Her father, Allen Bonet, was an opera singer and her mother also a musician. [3]
Inspired by afro futurism, existentialism and interdimensional travel, Kadhja’s songs are world building exercises with the goal of uncovering relatable connective tissues.
