The Style Council were a British band formed in 1982 by Paul Weller, the former lead singer of the Jam, and keyboardist Mick Talbot. They mixed pop, jazz, soul and funk influences, and had several UK and international hits, such as "My Ever Changing Moods" and "You're the Best Thing".
