Kukl (often stylized as KUKL or K.U.K.L.) was an Icelandic post-punk group in the 1980s, most notable for being one of Björk's first bands.
Kukl's music is complex and rhythmic, and a mixture of punk, rock, jazz, and more experimental music, with the lyrics sometimes in English, and sometimes in Icelandic. A powerful and personal band combining qualities from three important groups in Icelandic rock from the beginning of the eighties.
The Eye is the debut studio album by Icelandic post-punk band K.U.K.L – one of Björk’s first bands. It was released in September 1984 by Crass Records. The album peaked at No. 6 in the UK Independent Albums Chart.
