It was a remake of the 1932 film The County Fair, which had also been remade in 1937. A group of locals thwart the plans of a group of criminals to fix a race by doping a horse.
Synopsis. "Ma" Ryan, who runs a burger stand at the county fair, asks daughter Loretta to put a bet on a horse that Loretta's boyfriend Tommy is riding. Unfortunately, Loretta mistakenly places the bet on the wrong horse.
